Essie's Eternal Optimist is a nude pink nail polish, described as "a spiced tea rose with a dash of cream" on Essie's website. This one is from the 2009 spring collection. I don't tend to wear this color often, but find it a perfect match when I'm in the mood for something sweet but mature.
Here I applied one coat and as you can see that isn't enough, I was in a hurry to get to work. Two coats would do the trick.

Essie's Eternal Optimist zie ik als een 'sollicitatiekleurtje'. Elegant, verzorgd en understated. Ik grijp niet vaak terug naar deze nagellak aangezien ik graag een wat meer in het oogspringend kleur op mijn nagels draag. Maar dit 'classy' kleurtje blijft voorlopig toch een plaatsje houden in mijn collectie. Hier heb ik slecht één laagje gebruikt, moest vlug naar mijn werk. Maar zoals je waarschijnlijk kan zien, heeft het toch een tweetal laagjes nodig voor het echt tot zijn recht komt.
